Space derby is a game based on rockets. Cub Scout is a name given to participants most of them belongs to age group of 8 to 12 years and number of cub scouts participate in this game. This event is composed of many derby games few of them I am going to define here the first one is called pinewood derby, A derby game which is based on cars, i.e. car racing next one is raingutter derby which is based on boat racing and another one is Space derby which introduces rockets in their game.

Every year Cub Scout seminars are held to make cub scouts aware of each aspect of game by teaching them how to make fast running rockets. How to make solid construction of rockets that can bear the resistance during race. Cub Scout leaders are well versed in their skills and are well qualified to eligible level to make their place in these seminars. These seminars are a great way to make cub scouts a better citizen and to make them aware of the fundamentals of the scouting game.
Each Cub Scout is provided with a Cub Scout pack containing a rocket and a propeller in it. Whole system of racing works on a fishing wire. Basically the idea to organize a space derby event is to make cub scouts aware of the laws of kinematics.
The rockets used in Cub Scout game are made up of balsa wood. The designing of rockets should be strong enough to make sure it won’t break in the way. Whole game works on three basics first one is the speed of your rocket, next one is originality of your rocket and another major thing is outlook of your rocket. Let’s discuss them in detail.

Space Derby Rockets

First comes Speed, which simply means velocity of your rocket. How far your rocket goes in a second? There are many tools to increase the speed of your rocket. Modern tools are much more superior to the traditional ones.

Next comes originality of your rocket, which depends on few factors like the solid construction of your rocket, is your rocket good enough to follow the rules and regulations of science. Is your rocket well enough to bear the resistance during race.

Furthermore the outlook of your rocket, which means how good, is your rocket design to catch the attention of viewers.

Space winder, a tool to speed up your rocket velocity is used in all space derby events to make them run smoothly and barrier free. Four rockets can wind up equally using this amazing tool. Whole game can be described in just one line’ A passion that never ends’.
